Ramsden Hall Academy

Project Overview:
Complete replacement of the heating system within the original academy building dating from the early 1800s, while preserving the building’s historic character.

Works Completed:

* Drained down and removed existing steel pipework and cast iron radiators.
* Installed a complete new heating system using revised pipe routes to minimise disruption to the building’s fabric.
* Refurbished the plantroom while retaining the existing cascade boilers.
* Installed a plate heat exchanger, air source heat pump and new calorifier.
